MULTIPLICITIES
Let’s go. Gate check. Diesel’s FW26 campaign is a collaborative world tour: model’s cardboards are sent around the globe, embraced by locals and reframed in their unique point-of-view.
The new campaign transforms perspective into an exploration of multiplicity, community and shared cultures. Rooted in Diesel’s values of freedom, self-expression, diversity and inclusivity, it transcends borders and remains an open story.
D-COCCO & D-HEEL
The latest chapter in the visual collaboration between creative director Glenn Martens and art director Christopher Simmonds begins in the studio but is completed around the world. Photographer Verity Smiley-Jones shot models wearing looks from the Diesel FW26 collection against a red background, transformed into life-sized cardboard cutouts and shipped across the globe. In Shanghai, photographer Fish Zhang showcases the D-Cocco stiletto sandal paired with the new straight-leg D-Heel jean.
THE FW26 JOURNEY
The journey continues. In New Delhi, Megha Singha shoots trompe l'œil denim and Cut Out Floral Knits aboard a rickshaw. In Cairo, the ancient pyramids frame Wrinkled Boiled Knitwear and Creased Denim. In Shanghai, Fish Zhang captures 3-D Denim and Bicolor Leather in scaffolded street scenes. Finally, in Rio, Sergio Richard photographs Wrapped Up in Concert Print Ts, plaid, and the Stinger Watch on Ipanema Beach, with Dois Irmãos in the distance. A common thread throughout the world tour is the D-ONE, Diesel’s new bag of the season introduced on the FW26 runway.
CONNECTIONS ACROSS BORDERS
What begins as a series of static images evolves into a collection of perspectives shaped by the Diesel global community. Every landmark, every passerby who enters the frame adds a new layer to the story, transforming a single campaign into an ongoing celebration of freedom, self-expression and the many ways we see the world.
